Aphasia Connect is to serve as a positive influence for those recovering from Aphasia, by giving them tools to regain their vocabulary while also connecting with people facing similar struggles.
The Boys & Girls Club of Washington County provides youth programming for grades kindergarten through 12th grades in the areas of education, character, socialization, arts & crafts and physical recreation. The Club also helps development civic awareness and a need to give back to the community.
J.D. is a Professional Commercial Artist and Performing Cartoonist who draws cartoon portraits, aka caricatures, of people at parties and events. He also entertains at many programs with his Cartoon Fun Show and Draw Along Storytelling, audience participation, jokes & games. J.D. creates Original Tall Tale Stories. He wrote them down for a PBS project and became a published author. He promotes reading and character at schools, libraries, civic groups and churches.
